The watermill on the estate Pian del Nasso - originally dated around 1750 - is a very special rental because of its history, location and appearance. After a period of Restoration of several years, the mill is available as a new holiday accommodation since June 2011.

The mill is located at the junction of two little river streams with open views and nature all around and an absolute guarantee for peacefulness and privacy.

During the design and construction, we sought a proper balance between the authentic elements of the water mill and achieving a comfortable and luxurious accommodation. This contrast old-new is both visible in the materials and the establishment, so the original features of the mill are made of stone and cast iron, the structural part is made up of local natural stones and the used wood is mostly chestnut and oak. In contrast to this there is the use of modern materials such as concrete, glass and stainless steel. Ceramics are found in the form of tile paintings, tile panels built in the 18th century and tables from Deruta (painted and glazed lava stone).

Also in the furnishing and decoration a combination of old and new: a modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable floor heating as well as antique furniture. The mill has an extensive atmosphere lighting both indoors and outdoors.

Besides the authentic restored part of the mill (including water wheel, millstones and all the antique machinery) there is a modern and luxurious living area on a loft overlooking the mill section (with seating that converts into double bed), a spacious double bedroom , an additional sleeping area with single bed and an extra portable bed, a spacious bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered outdoor veranda. Around the mill there are several terraces with garden furniture and a landscaped garden.

The mill has 2 to 6 beds and through your own path (75 m) you have access to the heated swimming pool (5x12 m) with poolhouse on the property Pian del Nasso. Our Mulino is also suitable for naturists.
