How to reach Piana Crixia and our house Pian del Nasso
 
Through Germany
A61 – Basel – Luzern – Gottard – Milan – on the Tangenziale near Milan,you keep on the motorway to Torino and Alessandria.
Exit Alessandria SUD.
Immediately after the tollbooth (50 m!), turn RIGHT to Acqui Terme
(from here it is about 70 km = 1 hour to our house).
Keep following this “strada provinciale” nr. 30 in direction of Acqui Terme and Savona.
After the villages Spigno Monferrato and Merana you will see a big wall on the right of the road which goes on for km’s. At the end of the wall – in Piana Crixia – turn RIGHT in direction of Torino (there is a sign).
After exactly 3 km (look at your tachometer!) turn LEFT to Lodisio. This turn is in a sharp turn while the road goes up (after you passed a yellow sign with “Arrivederci a Piana Crixia and another sharp turn in the road). Look for the mirror attached to a big yellow house on your left.
After exactly 1 km and before the road starts to climb, you find Pian del Nasso, our house, on your left. It is made of stones and partly painted red.
In our “Tom Tom” our house is indicated as “Pian del Reggiolo” which is wrong. So you better try “Località Lodisio” (or regione Lodisio), which is 4 km further down the road.
 
Coming from Savona
motorway direction Torino. Take first exit (Altare / Carcare) and “strada provinciale” nr. 29 in direction Cairo Montenotte / Acqui Terme.
Just after a series of houses on your left and right in Piana Crixia, turn LEFT to Torino (there is a sign).
After exactly 3 km (look at your tachometer!) turn LEFT … see above.
 
Coming from Torino
motorway direction Savona. Exit Millesimo, then take direction Carcare. On the roundabout take LEFT to Cairo Montenotte / Acqui Terme (“strada provinciale” nr. 29).
Just after a series of houses on your left and right in Piana Crixia, turn LEFT to Torino (there is a sign).
After exactly 3 km (look at your tachometer!) turn LEFT … see above.
